A Finance Manager with good communication skills

For Coveris Rigid (soon to become PACCOR) in Nijkerk we are looking for a Finance Manager with good communication skills! He/she must have experience with change management.

The Finance Manager is responsible for two departments: Finance & IT.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Production of month end and year-end accounts, complying with all legal, statutory and group accounting requirements.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient running of the Finance department ensuring best possible relations with internal departments along with production of accurate and timely management information.
  • Build productive relationships with the business leadership and ensure that financial efficacy is core to business decisions.
  • Lead the finance team and manage relationships with the financial shared service centre in Poland.
  • Ensure the provision of an effective, accurate and efficient costing system to help achieve Company margin requirements.
  • Provide accurate information for the production of Coveris Netherlands management accounts.
  • Financial planning, analysis and control. Lead forecasting, budgeting and variance/tracking.
  • Manage the Company cash flow requirements, including processing and payment of all purchase ledger invoicing.
  • Manage all the standard process controls around stock, provisioning etc. Project costing.
  • Ensure commercial projects, initiatives and customer accounts meet financial targets.
  • Follow up achievement objectives; identify risks/opportunities and initiate corrective action.
  • Develop financial control processes
  • Financial staff management, motivation, training, recruitment and selection.
  • Liaison with all relevant external bodies, i.e. Auditors, Inland Revenue, etc.
  • Company Insurance compliance.

Education and specifik knowledge:

  • Broad finance management experience gained in a manufacturing/Industrial environment.
  • Business partnering to enhanced commercial results.
  • Track record of challenging established thought and holding stakeholders accountable for plans and outcomes.
  • Strong management accounting, budgeting, planning, forecasting, costing, FP&A and control experience.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience and/or comfortable working in a matrixed environment.
  • Should have audit experience (or extensive exposure to auditors).
  • HBO qualification or equivalent
