Tax Accounting & External Reporting Advisor

The Tax Accounting & External Reporting Advisor is responsible for adequately and in a timely manner setting up the yearly reporting & financial statements and advising and analyzing future benefits and an optimal corporate Tax structure for the Plukon Food group

 

The Tax Accounting & External Reporting’s Advisor key objectives includes:

  • Preparation of the annual report and financial statements of Plukon Food Group B.V., as well as (co-)coordination and supervision of the annual accounts process at the various locations and at group level.
  • Advising an optimal transfer pricing structure and analyze benefits on corporate Tax structure for the entire group. Prepare and filing income Tax documents and advice the group with regard to income Tax strategies.
  • Advice and assistance the group with the mandatory Transfer Pricing documentation for the group and the Dutch tax unit.
  • Ensure that the annual reporting continues to meet the requirements of Dutch GAAP, including the maintenance and transfer of the necessary knowledge.
  • Implementing a group-wide tax control framework (TCF).
  • Monitoring / advising on internal risk management and control systems.
  • Maintaining contact with the external auditor(s) and tax auditor and next to it have quarterly meetings with the Dutch Tax authority.
  • (Co-)preparation of other required external financial reports at Plukon Food Group level, including to financiers and other external bodies.
  • Reviewing accounting processes in order to advise on possible improvements.
  • Ensure adequate follow-up of improvements in the administrative organization and internal control.

 

Candidate Profile

In terms of the performance and personal competencies required for the position:

  • The candidate has a Master degree in Economics (Business or Fiscal) and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferred RA title.
  • Good knowledge and experience with reporting and fiscal regulations.
  • Has grown up within a well-developed international finance function.
  • Is a team player and a sparring partner. No nonsense type. High energy level.
  • Independent thinker. Analytical. Conceptual and hands on at the same time.
  • Able to discuss with and convince external fiscal advisors or internally the CFO and/or audit committee with regard to Tax proposals and or group reporting topics.
  • Interested in a long term position.
  • Speaks fluently English, Dutch and German, preference French.
